This place is clean and spacious with stunning views.

Stylish and special hotel with efficient staff on shift. The breakfast was delicious and typical english and the location was unbeatable. We've got a spotless room at excellent prices with a patio, the fantastic views plus a single bed.

Our room was great. Very nice, big and modern furnished. I especially liked the great pictures of artists in the whole house and the fresh flowers. A wonderfully furnished hotel with a beautiful colour concept that lifts the mood. Super fine breakfast, which was not available at the buffet, could be ordered. Fine dinner, super cooked and the great view of the sea. Very nice, courteous staff.

We did not find the hotel view from outside very appealing. . Not enough loungers in the spa.

I stayed in a nicely air-conditioned guest room with a very comfy bed, and the location was perfect for me, right by the kids' play area.

the bathroom was much to small,we are average size but found it very hard to shower, just dont know how any one could bath small children in such a small area.

We had booked twin beds (with parking lot view). One should in any case book the sea view, as the hotel "lives" on this super view.

The gym is unkempt. Clean yes but simply not well maintained. Down.

The hotel is in a remote location by Mawgan Porth bay. I was pleasantly surprised to discover Cornish Fresh nearby and enjoyed several meals there. - I had a tidy room with a single bed and a fantastic view.

The breakfasts! Fabulous imaginative food. TheEcco ethics are admirable and also the facilities for families & the care taken to prevent children being imposed on other guests. All children were well behaved and families dined separately The spectaular view. I loved it!i

Would have appreciated more generosity with toiletries. For price expected to be replenished daily. Also requested more milk for tea in room & it never arrived.

Fantastic location, great facilities. Chosen for a special treat and was pleased with choice. Lived up to reputation, just wished we'd had a room with a sea view!

Disapointed outdoor pool not open as weather mild for time of year. Felt a little rushed at dinner and request for window table ignored even though restaurant reservation made earlier in the day!

The property is clean with a lovely design. the English breakfast is very very good. - the setting is fantastic and marvelous. - the upstairs cafe/bistro is good. - the pub down the road in Morgan porch is really nice.

The location, comfort and facilities were all excellent.

No complaints apart from the bathroom extractor not working and the mirrors all steaming up. Thats all!

This hotel barely makes the grade of being a 4* but charges 4* rates for what I feel is adequate 3* service. The south west was one of the first TV areas to go digital so why did the TV in the room only have channels 1-5 plus Sky News? Surely a 4* hotel could run to a few flowers on the tables in the dining room? Also for the prices being charged I feel it is iniquitous to charge a supplement for orange juice at breakfast because of the 'food miles' and the hotel's environmental ethics - I was on holiday for heavens sake. Why wait until the soap in the bathroom was virtually non existent before replacing, you nearly had to ration handwashing,

The hotels location is brilliant with the most magnificent views and access to a lovely beach. Quite strong currents but plenty of space for the kids to run around. The hotels children's tea is fantastic and the food prepared is fresh and with plenty of healthy options. The breakfast is a treat and lovely to have the kids welcomed so warmly in to the restaurant too. Great to offer adult only swim times and the outdoor pool proved a hit with our 2 tots. The hotel focuses on family and comfort as a priority and this makes you feel at ease and gives a family the chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. There is lots on offer with children's clubs which we didn't use but it was nice to have the option.

There was a delay with our order through room service but what we did receive was good quality and very enjoyable. Also experienced the fire alarm going off in the hotel late at night and I think it would have been reassuring to have had a call from reception after the incident to reassure guests that all was ok or an apology or explanation on check out.
